The focus of my research is the development of ethnographic, communities-of-practice oriented approaches to critical discourse analysis.
Research interests include sociolinguistics, pragmatics (especially relevance theory), gender and sexuality, practice theory, post-structuralist discourse theory and the collection, transcription and analysis of conversational data.
