- A team of researchers contributed to a review of evidence on inequality relating to life and health for the Equality and Human Rights Commission, which was drawn on extensively for the Equality and Human Rights Commission's first triennial review, a report required by statute and used by Government departments.
- An evidence synthesis for the Pension, Disabilities and Carer Service (PDCS) of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP); this is published on the DWP website. The topic is ethnic minority customers of the PDCS focusing in particular on sources of dissatisfaction for those customers.
- An evidence synthesis for Rotherham NHS looking at distal determinants of public health, particularly the effect of welfare benefit and benefits advice on health.
- Rotherham Smoke Free Homes - commissioned by Rotherham PCT to generate social marketing insight and interventions in order to evaluate the Rotherham Smoke Free Homes service.
- An evaluation of the effectiveness of service user and carer participation in social care - commissioned by SCIE

- An international study of the hidden costs and invisible contributions of disabled and older people involving Canada, USA, Netherlands and the UK. Funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Canada, and is co-ordinated by the Department of Human Ecology, University of Alberta, Canada.
- The development and evaluation of education interventions in the early identification of lung cancer for the public and health professionals. Collaboration with local NHS partners.

- The development fo graduate allied health professionals at Peradeniya University, Sri Lanka.
- Technical and statistical analysis input to on a project that brought together data from the international Demographic and Health Surveys to explore gendered influences on dimensions of health and wellbeing. The analysis focused on condom use in Uganda and Zimbabwe. Funded by Macro International Inc.
- An evaluation of the health needs of residents of the Eastwood and Spring Well Gardens community, funded by the local Pathfinder Project, involving the training and support of community researchers
