Ambassador for the University in Research and Knowledge Transfer in Sustainability. Representation to external organisations of the expertise that resides across the University in all subjects related to sustainability and the environment. Identification and building of bespoke multidisciplinary project teams to undertake Knowledge Transfer projects including consultancy, research, training/CPD, and student projects and placements. Facilitating the building of consortia relevant to particular funding streams, nationally and internationally, and assisting in the development of content for bids. Generating a critical mass and momentum in the preparation of bids. Establishing links and developing strategic relationships with relevant external organisations. Managing the development of the external website to represent sustainability at SHU to the outside world, together with marketing material. Establishing relationships with all other SHU initiatives on the topic, and linking with Facilities Directorate and the LTI. Identifying initiatives to involve students in projects enhancing student experience and employability.
