Research interests
I am currently part of the Mobile Machines and Vision Laboratory and work in the areas of embedded systems and sensors with a particular interest in machine olfaction.
Since returning to academia from industry in 2008 I have worked on several EU funded projects including Guardians (IST 045269) (2006-10), Viewfinder (IST 045541) (2006-09) and Replicator (Project ref 216240) (2008-13) and am currently co investigator for the EPSRC funded project REINS (EP/I028757/1) (2011-14).
I am also regularly involved in industrial consultancy/collaborations and with the supervision of PhD students.
