Recent publications
All of Alexei's papers can be accessed at SHURA.
- Recent developments in chemical- and bio-sensors:
1. QCM based sensors and sensor arrays for detection of volatile organic chemicals (VOC) in pre-explosive concentrations.
2. Planar waveguide sensor - a platform sensor technology for detection a wide range of catalytic (enzyme) and affinity (immune) reactions. A sensor prototype was developed for detection of traces (in sub ppb range) of heavy metals and pesticides in water.
3. Total Internal Reflection Ellipsometry (TIRE) - a novel bio-analytical tool for detection of a wide range of affinitity (immune) reactions, particularly suitable for detection of low molecular weight toxins (mycotoxins, herbicides, alkylphenols).
