David has many years expertise in process improvement using both Lean and discrete event simulation; both in academia and industry.
His research interests are in improving the efficiency of model development and how simulation can be embedded within a business.
His consultancy skills have been used to improve the productivity of multinational companies such as BAE SYSTEMS, Siemens Industrial Turbo Machinery and Firth Rixson, to name but a few.
