Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) provide resources and expertise to thriving organisations that wish to innovate, expand or improve their performance. Businesses and organisations of all sizes and all sectors can take part.

Supported by Government funding, projects utilise our academic knowledge and expertise and transfer it into businesses. They are usually delivered by a recent graduate known as the Associate who works mainly on site with the company partner and is supported by a designated academic supervisor for half a day per week. The benefits of KTP are 3 way; the company partners improve their competitiveness, it enhances the careers of graduates and increases the University's relevance to industry.

‘Sheffield Hallam has successfully delivered over 140 KTP Programmes over the last 25 years. The majority have involved expertise from the  Materials and Engineering areas.  Since 2006  Sarah  and the Enterprise Centre have supported 38  proposal submissions  throughout the University’
