Corrosion testing facilities

We have test facilities available for monitoring and quantifying the corrosion degradation of materials and coatings. These include metals and metallic coatings and paints.

Our equipment and expertise allows us to carry out both accelerated environmental and electrochemical tests, as appropriate. In addition to established electrochemical techniques, we also have a suite of instruments for monitoring localised corrosion activity. These tests can also be combined with microscopy, which can be a useful tool for assessing corrosion degradation.
