At MARS we deliver analysis and consultancy services to any industry which has materials based needs. Our services cover a range of specialist areas. If you're unsure of what you need please contact us and our experts will be pleased to advise you. All services are provided by experts from the research community at Sheffield Hallam University. Solutions to your problems are delivered using a range of state-of the art instruments and techniques. MARS is one of 14 Centres for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) based at Yorkshire universities. MARS is based at the Materials and Engineering Research Institute (MERI) at Sheffield Hallam University. Our reception is located on floor 5 of the Norfolk building at City Campus.

About the team
Sheaf Solutions is a consultancy arm of the systems modelling and integration group in the Centre for Automation and Robotics Research.
We provide a broad range of consulting services, drawing on a unique combination of systems engineering, operational analysis and technology capabilities to assist businesses to successfully solve problems and drive improvements resulting in increased revenue, reduced costs, streamlined relocations, reduced lead times, eliminated waste and improved overall cost efficiency.
We work with all sizes of companies in a variety of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, postal service and food and service industries. Our areas of expertise are process modelling and simulation, lean operations and automation and robotics
