How to apply
We understand that it's important for you to find the right course to provide you with the professional or academic skills you need for your future. We can work with you to help you identify which of our many courses would best help you achieve your ambitions and career aspirations. If you are unsure which course is right for you and want to talk to someone, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you further.
Once you have decided on a course to study, you can download an application form or email us at sbs@shu.ac.uk and we can post one out to you.
If your chosen course has more than one intake per year, please include on your application form which intake you would like to start your studies.
If you are an international student, you should be applying at least two months before the start date of your chosen course to ensure you have complied with all the new immigration rules. For more information visit our frequently asked questions page.
We consider each application individually and can usually make a decision on your application within 5 working days. On occasion we may want to interview you in person or by telephone first if we need more information. If this is the case, we will contact you direct to arrange a mutually convenient time.
