Centre for Facilities Management Development
The Centre for Facilities Management Development is part of the Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University.
The Centre's prime purposes are to carry out academic, grant aided and contract research, to deliver leading-edge education and training and offer consultancy services in all aspects of facilities management. Our philosophy is founded on the belief that facilities management (FM) is a distinct profession concerned with the 'management of the overlap between people, processes and places'.
The Centre promotes the notion that the role of facilities management in any organisation can have a critical influence on productivity levels, the ability to change, and indeed the organisation's potential for continuous success.
