Ian joined CFMD at the Sheffield Business School in November 2008, following a ten-year career in operational FM, managing hard and soft-service FM aspects at a portfolio of sites throughout the North East. His in-house department was outsourced in December 2006 and Ian transferred with the majority of the department, gaining valuable experience of the process.
He is currently studying for a doctorate, with research interests including change management, organisational relationships and ethics, and how different workplaces might enable success.
