Tim is a chartered surveyor by profession. He joined the University in 1998 having spent the previous 12 years in property management roles.
Tim has worked as an in-house property manager for a small group of property investment and development companies, and also for a major provincial private practice firm of chartered surveyors acting for occupational clients Hillsdown Holdings Plc and Wickes Plc. He was also associate director with an East Anglian firm of chartered surveyors heading up the management department acting for investment clients including AXA Equity & Law, Standard Life, Scottish Provident, a number of private pension funds and private investors.
Tim is involved in teaching Property Asset Management on the MBA and FdA in FM. In addition to his work within the Centre, Tim is head of continuing professional development for the Sheffield Business School, with lead responsibility for the development of the post experience part-time learning and development portfolio of activities.
