Psychological research on food and nutrition can focus on how some food stuffs affect feelings of being sated, whilst others link to obesity.

Health psychology research and methods help promote and maintain health and prevent and manage disease. Diet and food choice are essential to maintain health in preventing diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cancers and heart disease.

Our health psychologists are expert in researching the psychological factors affecting food choice, as well as designing and evaluating dietary interventions.
