Dawn has recently joined the University, working within the Centre for Food Innovation on the Innovation Futures project. The £3.2 million Yorkshire Forward and ERDF funded project plans to boost the potential of businesses with the Yorkshire and Humber region through innovation.
It aims to provide consultancy and research and development assistance to SMEs, working with them to facilitate change and provide effective solutions tailored to their business' requirements across a range of areas. These include materials and engineering, sports engineering, design solutions, food innovation and individual and organisational development.
Dawn has a Bsc (Hons) in Food Science and will be working within the food and drink sector, drawing upon her 13 years experience in chilled food manufacture. During this time, Dawn has held a number of roles within product and process development and commercial management.
