As project manager, Paul's primary focus is to manage the development, delivery and promotion of knowledge transfer and research activities on behalf of the Centre. Paul is a trained PRINCE2 practitioner in project management and has specific responsibility for a three year regional project, 'Appetizing Innovation', which is funded by Yorkshire Forward.
In 2006, Paul was commissioned as Interdisciplinary Champion for the £1.27 million, HEFCE funded Food Innovation Project, which sought to deliver innovative, multidisciplinary interventions for the food and drink industry.
Over the past 15 years, Paul has worked in both the public and private sectors in a range of business development and marketing roles, during which time he has completed qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an MSc in Marketing Management.
Alongside working on commercial projects for the Centre for Food Innovation, Paul also delivers undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in marketing communications and business related subjects.
