Suzanne is the business support manager for the Centre for Food Innovation.
Suzanne has over 20 years experience of working in the Higher Education sector. She holds an MSc in Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
She is responsible for systems and process to ensure effective tracking and monitoring of delivery elements, milestones, budgets and outputs. Suzanne is the lead facilitator and interface for the research centre's Advisory Board and members of cross-faculty project delivery teams, and is the Centre's project manager for the Innovation Futures initiative.
She worked as project development coordinator of the £1.27 million, HEFCE funded Food Innovation Project, working closely with the project manager to track and monitor the delivery of the innovative multidisciplinary, university-wide project and also to assist in raising the profile of the project with industry. Suzanne's skills and attributes were integral to the delivery of this high profile HEFCE initiative.
Her expertise includes communication and influencing and negotiation skills, relating to colleagues and peers at all levels, both within the University and with external stakeholders.
Suzanne has also worked for two Vice-Chancellors and a Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University, particularly in the areas of research, knowledge transfer and business engagement. She has extensive experience of project management delivery, processes and tracking systems.
