Profile

Beth is a research associate in the Centre for Business and Management (CIOD). She has extensive experience of social research and policy analysis in area of employment and skills.

In her previous role at the Sector Skills Council, Skills for Justice, she studied the current and future skills needs of those working within justice sector using quantitative and qualitative research methods. In addition to skills needs research, Beth was involved in the evaluation of products and services delivered by the Skills for Justice.

Prior to moving to the UK in 2005, she received her BSc Chemistry in 2001 (Denison University, USA) and MSc Chemistry in 2005 (Ohio State University). In 2006 she completed the Market Research Society Level 5 Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice and was awarded a distinction.

Currently she is working towards her MA in Social Science Research Methods (Business) at Sheffield Hallam University.
