Profile

Daniel O'Hare is a senior lecturer in international business and involved in a wide variety of teaching roles, ranging from undergraduate to DBA. Prior to his academic career he was operations' manager with a multinational chemical company. This experience encompassed human resource management, production, distribution, research and development, quality management, safety management, management of change and strategic management.

During the past 20 years, Daniel has been involved in a variety of academic/business activities, including University lecturing, consultancy projects, directorships of two companies and freelance business development, facilitation/advisory roles.

Research and consultancy projects

Consultancy and business development work has included engagement with a wide spectrum of organisations, ranging from SMEs to multinational institutions. Daniel is involved with final year MSc international students, supervising academic/business linkage in the form of work based research projects in conjunction with dissertation guidance. In addition, he also supervises doctoral students.
