Professor Kevan Scholes
Profile
Kevan Scholes is the principal partner of Scholes Associates - specialising in management development in strategic management. He is also visiting professor of strategic management at Sheffield Hallam University and formerly director of the Sheffield Business School.
He has considerable experience of lecturing, consultancy and writing in strategic management for both the public and private sectors both in the UK and overseas. He is author of Europe's best-selling text 'Exploring Corporate Strategy'* with over 650,000 sales world-wide. It has been translated into Spanish, French, Czech and Chinese. Portuguese, Russian and German versions are currently in translation.
His management development and consultancy work includes organisations in manufacturing, professional services, computing, telecommunications, retailing and a wide range of public service organisations. His work includes both large and small businesses. He has regular commitments outside the UK - including Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
He has also been an advisor on management development to a number of national bodies. He is a Companion of The Chartered Management Institute and a past Chairman and President of the Sheffield and Chesterfield branch of the Institute.
