We are a founder member of the Association of Event Management Educators.
Clients
Our recent clients have included UNESCO, European Commission, International Festival and Event Association, Tourism Management Institute, Association of Independent Tour Operators, Scott Wilson, Cyprus Villages, Epirus sa Greece, European chapter of the International Festival and Events Association, and the Arts Council England (Yorkshire).
Visits
Our students regularly visit local venues such as Sheffield Theatres, the largest regional theatre complex outside London, Sheffield City Hall and Don Valley Stadium as part of their studies.
Partnerships
Our partnership with the Youth Hostel Association (YHA) has been used as an element of postgraduate study for the MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management course. The YHA partnership provided the MSc students with a real sense of what working in a consultancy environment is like and it enabled them to develop valuable skills that they will use as managers in the workplace. Events teaching and learning is supported through well established links with businesses and venues in Sheffield which include event companies; major hotels and charities; The Don Valley Stadium; City Hall and Sheffield Theatres.
