We have a learning centre on both campuses
What can you do in our learning centres?
- Reserve individual and group study spaces such as meeting rooms and PCs.
- Access print and electronic library resources.
- View DVDs, video and images.
- Use IT facilities.
- Borrow books and equipment.
- Get help from the helpdesk.
- Get refreshments and take a break from your studies.
24 hour opening
The learning centres are open seven days a week during semesters, with 24 hour access (Sunday–Friday) for most teaching weeks. Security staff ensure a safe environment at all times.
Our vision
In the 2009-10 academic year we had
- 1.6 million visits to learning centres
- 1.5 million book loans
- 167,000 helpdesk enquiries
We're updating our learning centres to capture our vision of buildings that 'convey the excitement of learning and discovery to our students and staff.'
