European Documentation Centre collection
The European Documentation Centre (EDC) collection is located at Collegiate Learning Centre. The material is for reference only. The collection is part of an official European Commission network located in selected universities in Europe and the rest of the world.
Material in the EDC relates mainly to EU law and policy, although there is some information on the individual countries of the Union.
We receive most of the official publications of the European Union (EU). These include copies of draft legislation and green and white papers; information on the main EU institutions, such as the Commission, Court of Justice and European Parliament; statistics relating to the EU and individual Member States and reports.
The collection also contains an extensive run of journals organised separately in alphabetical order. The main collection is split in to pre-1992 material and more recent items. Both are shelved in classification order and all documents are listed on the Library Catalogue.
