Learning through playFull year contract
This contract entitles you to use the sessions you book between September and June during nursery terms.

By choosing a full year contract, you will be booking the same weekly sessions for the whole year, except on days when the nursery is closed. The total fee charged will be your weekly rate x 38 (see reductions below).

Part-year contract
This is a contract for 19 weeks and so allows you to change your sessions at the end of the contract. However, we cannot guarantee that the altered sessions will be available. All other conditions are the same as for the full year contract. The total fee charged will be your weekly rate x 19 (see 'reductions' below).

Settling in
If you are new to the Nursery, the hours you can attend during the first weeks in September will be limited in order to allow your child to settle in properly. Please telephone the Nursery to arrange your first visit. More about settling in.

Winter, spring and summer vacations
As part of your contract, you will be charged a retainer fee of 50 per cent to cover the winter and spring holidays. Fees for additional sessions during these weeks will therefore be at reduced rates. During the summer vacation after your contract ends, you may be able to claim financial assistance for extra sessions if your course continues.

Reductions will only be made for the following

  • Nursery Education Grant (if you are eligible)
  • if you have paid a deposit
  • if you do not require nursery lunches
  • if your child's age changes (see also Fees)

Please note: We do not make reductions for absence.

Booking for the following year

Nursery places are in great demand and it is therefore necessary for us to plan ahead so that the maximum number of children can be accommodated. It is also essential to maintain high occupancy in order to keep the level of fees as low as possible.

At the end of each academic year, you will be asked to book your sessions for the following year and a contract will then be prepared for you to sign. This contract secures your place in the nursery for the entire year.
