Student advice and information service
The Student Advice and Information Service provides high quality advice and information to students, prospective students and graduates.
Life at university is exciting and valuable, but it can also bring challenges. These may relate to your course, broader issues about how your life and study are interacting, or what steps to take if things aren't turning out as you expected.
If you need some help whilst you are here you can visit one of our Student Services Centres. We are open five days a week on both campuses. Our service is impartial, independent and confidential.
Student advice drop-in
We offer 20 minute drop-in sessions where you can talk things through with one of our student advisers. There's no need to book, so just turn up. We can provide phone and email guidance if you can't make it in to see us in person.
We work closely with a range of other student support services in the University to provide help with topics such as such as
- careers and employment
- disabled student support
- wellbeing
- international student support
- student financial support
- issues with your course
So if we can't answer your question we will put you in touch with someone who can.
