What is the role of student wellbeing?
The Student Wellbeing Team supports and enables students to take positive action and responsibility for their physical, social, emotional, moral and spiritual health.
The aim of the Student Wellbeing Service is
- supporting students to continue with their studies
- enabling students to gain the most from their University experience
Who is in student wellbeing?
Wellbeing advisors each with individual areas of expertise
- counsellors
- mental health
- faith and religion
The administration team also provide effective front line support.
The Multifaith Chaplaincy Coordinator is responsible for the provision of advice and guidance to students about religious belief and practice, faith and spirituality, and related matters.

8:45am – 5:15pm
Tuesday
10:30am – 5:15pm
Wednesday
8:45am – 7pm (close 5:15pm out of term time)
Thursday
8:45am – 5:15pm

8:45am – 4:45pm
Our student portal BlackBoard provides online self-help accessible at any time.
You can also collect and borrow useful information such as books or leaflets at any time during these opening hours.
Several types of appointments are available throughout the week to meet with a student wellbeing advisor. We can guide you through this simple process.
