Peak District

Britain's first National Park, established in 1951, is visited by people from all over the world. They come to find peace, tranquility and adventure, experiencing some of England’s finest climbing, caving, walking and cycling.

Sheffield is lucky to have the Peak District so close by. In fact a large part of the city is actually classified as being inside the National Park.

Peak DistrictFrom the picturesque villages of Castleton, Hope, Hathersage and Eyam through to the perfect locations for outdoor sports such as climbing, caving and mountain biking, it is no wonder that the Peak District attracts tourists by the bus load.
