The Leadmill is Sheffield’s longest running
independent live music venue and nightclub
Since opening its doors The Leadmill has been at the heart of the city’s nightlife. And with a variety of club nights, talented bands and cheap drinks, it popularity continues to soar.
The Leadmill began life in 1980, which coincided with the rise of several Sheffield bands including the Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, Heaven 17 and ABC.
Over the years it has welcomed artists such as Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Libertines and Sheffield's own Arctic Monkeys, and it has been voted Best Live Music Venue by NME readers several times.
