Traditional pubs continue to prosper in Sheffield
Kelham Island boasts some of the country's best real ale pubs. At the Fat Cat you can try Pale Rider, their award-winning Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) 'best beer in Britain'. And the Kelham Island Tavern was the 2008 and 2009 CAMRA national pub of the year.
There's a great choice of pubs in all areas of the city. The Lescar on Sharrowvale Road has live entertainment and is famous for the Last Laugh Comedy Club.
Champs on Ecclesall Road, The Sheffield Tap at Sheffield Station and The Devonshire Cat in the city centre all have a great selection of ales and are student favourites.
