iceSheffield opened in 2003 and was purpose built to offer people of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy skating.
Whether you want to skate for fun, play ice hockey, have a go at curling or watch figure skaters perform, this venue offers it all. The cool, contemporary atmosphere offers a unique way to get fit and enjoy exciting events on and off the ice all year round.
iceSheffield has two Olympic-sized ice pads and has hosted a range of prestigious events including the British Adult Ice Dance Championships, Women's World Ice Hockey, International Short Track Speed Skating, British Ice Figure and Dance Championships and dry events such as the National Judo Championships.
When they're not playing at Sheffield Arena, you can see Britain's first professional ice hockey team, the Sheffield Steelers, play home games here.
