Ice Sheffield is one of the best ice venues in the UK
Ice Sheffield opened its doors to the public in May 2003. Sport England funded this £15.7 million major development which was a joint project between Sheffield International Venues, Sheffield City Trust, Sheffield City Council and governing bodies.
This venue is the region's premier twin-padded ice rink and has already hosted major events including the British Adult Ice Dance Championships and the British Ice Figure and Dance Championships.
When they are not playing at Sheffield Arena, you can see Britain's first professional ice hockey team, the Sheffield Steelers, play home games here.
Ice Sheffield is totally committed to catering for the interests and aspirations of the whole community – offering recreational skating, learn to skate sessions, children's birthday parties and ice disco sessions. All run hand in hand with the elite performances and ice sports development.
