Ponds Forge International Sports Centre is one of the leading
indoor facilities in the country
One of the world’s most technically advanced aquatic venues, Ponds Forge attracts more than 1.3m visitors a year.
It boasts a 50 metre, 10 lane competition pool and an Olympic diving pool, which is the deepest in Europe and home to some of the GB diving squad.
There is also a leisure pool, 'Surf City', which offers lane and leisure swimming and features a wave machine, lazy river, two large water slides and a smaller children's pool with a waterfall and fountains.
'Dry' facilities include a 130 piece modern gym, spin studio, numerous group fitness class studios, a steam room and sauna, and the International Sports Hall, a regular venue for international volleyball, badminton and basketball competitions.
