Enterprise Challenge competition
If you have a business idea and you like the idea of working for yourself, the Enterprise Challenge can give you the kick start you need to succeed.
The Enterprise Challenge is our annual business start-up competition, open to all Sheffield Hallam students and graduates from the last five years. All you need is an idea, and we’ll provide all the support you need to turn it into reality.
Registration takes place in February each year. All you need to submit is a short summary of your business idea, plus your contact details, and we’ll guide you through the process from there with the winners announced at our annual Enterprise Dinner in the Autumn.

| February | registration and eligibility checks |
| March | you’ll be sent a two-page proforma to fill in to give us more details about your business idea |
| April | business summaries are submitted and judging takes place, based on the information provided |
| July | if you make it through to the next stage, you will then be required to submit a detailed business plan |
| September | finally you present your idea to our panel of expert judges, who will then decide who makes it through to the final presentation day, when the winners will be decided |
