MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival
Each year Sheffield hosts MADE, the UK's premier business festival for entrepreneurs and business growth. The 2011 festival, held in September, saw Sheffield Hallam students and graduates rubbing shoulders with the likes of Dragon's Den entrepreneur Peter Jones and Business Secretary Vince Cable, thanks to the business start up support they receive from the University's Enterprise Centre.
Student Hayley Toothill, who works as a freelance Social-media and PR consultant, said, 'It's fantastic to have a business festival like this right here on our doorstep. It's a great opportunity to network, learn from experts and meet some really inspirational entrepreneurs'.
