Students from the Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TAR College) have a long and successful record of academic excellence at Sheffield Hallam University.
We offer a range of courses in a variety of learning formats – from a 15 week semester to a two year split degree or a Masters level degree.
We have a number of courses for holders of certain TAR College diplomas and Advanced Diplomas, including the successful Summer Semester, Two Year Progression Degrees and Continuation Masters Degrees. These courses are offered at special discounts, available only to students of TAR College.
Research has shown that our graduates’ experience at Sheffield Hallam University has been a very significant factor in finding a job in Malaysia.

Here we see Y B Dato’Seri Ong Ka Ting, Chairman of TAR College talking to ex TARC students at Sheffield Hallam University during their visit in March. He was accompanied by the Principal, Ms Yoong Lai Thye, Datin Seri Wendy Ong, Ms Chan Ng Moi, Registrar and Mr J J Lim, Chairman's Office. The delegation made a number of visits to centres of excellence within the University and were pleased with what they saw. The reception for students was hosted by the Chairman and attended by around 80 students.
