Hallam Special Achievement Scholarship
Do you have a special achievement that you are particularly proud of?
We have three Special Achievement Scholarships to award to TARC students enrolled on the Sheffield Hallam University top-up courses in the summer of 2012. They are worth £300 each. Recipients of the scholarships are free to use the funding as they see appropriate.
They will be awarded to students who have demonstrated fine leadership qualities or outstanding service to others in their community, or have overcome special difficulties in life, prior to coming to Sheffield Hallam University. This could be in your education, your family or your wider community.
To be eligible
- applicants should be registered and enrolled for one of the Summer Semester Programme courses in the summer of 2012 and have paid all their fees
- applicants must demonstrate some outstanding service or special achievement
There are only three conditions
- you must be studying one of the Summer Semester Programme courses specially for TARC students and have paid all your fees
- you must apply and provide verification of the activities and achievements on which you base your application e.g. Certificate of Achievement and letter of recommendation supporting why you should be considered for the scholarship
- your permission will be sought to have your name, photograph and story publicised
