Undergraduate academic calendar 2011/12

This calendar relates to students following a standard undergraduate academic year. For undergraduate students who have an extended year (for example education students who have teaching practice), details of their patterns of expected attendance / assessment will be published in individual course guides/handbooks issued by the Faculty responsible for the programme.

Freshers' activities are organised by our students' union. Please see the Hallam Union website for more information.

** UK Bank Holidays and additional University closures: 29 and 30 August 2011; 26 Dec 2011–2 Jan 2012 inclusive; 6 April 2012; 9 and 10 April 2012; 7 May 2012; 4 and 5 June 2012 , 27 and 28 August 2012
+ This does not apply to final year or work placement students who are taking outstanding assessment from the previous year and are not attending the University. These students may take outstanding assessment at the next natural available opportunity.
