Energy and water saving

The University is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and in terms of energy, that means reducing the amount of carbon dioxide emissions resulting from energy use. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas which contributes to global warming. We can all assist in reducing energy use where appropriate by undertaking various measures.

The University provides advice for all members of staff in reducing energy consumption within the university. The University also actively encourages staff to reduce energy and water at home where possible.
