Environmental management system - policies
The University understands that all of its activities impact on the environment and is committed to the following
- minimising the negative impacts of its operations on the natural and social environment and aim for the highest standards of environmental management
- fully integrate environmental management into all of its operations
- review its environmental performance with its stakeholders to establish programmes of continuous improvement
- increase the environmental awareness of all of its employees
- assess in advance its business activities for their environmental impact
- establish systems for the prevention of pollution at all of its operations
- comply with all environmental legislation, regulation and codes of practice that are relevant to its business activities
- report on its environmental performance to all interested parties
- provide contributions to the sustainable development agenda both within and outside the sector
