The Associate School and College Partnership (ASCP)
The Associate School and College Partnership was established in 2005 to support effective engagement between the University and local schools and colleges. Specifically for institutions providing post-16 education, the ASCP provides partners with a host of benefits, including
- priority access to a range of outreach and widening participation activities
- additional support for some students via the Compact Scheme
- participation in the Sheffield Hallam Annual Academic Achievement Award celebration scheme
- a dedicated named contact and single entry point into the University for all enquiries
- invitations to partnership events such as conferences and briefing sessions
- access to a partnership website providing downloadable resources and information
- links to the Sheffield Hallam Teacher Education student placement team
- invitations to guest lectures and events via the Friends of Hallam programme
