Our partners

We work closely with partners to provide meaningful education that meets our common goal to educate allied health professionals to meet the nation’s healthcare needs to improve public health and reduce health inequalities. Our partners are drawn from across the country in both the public and private sectors. We work with closely with NHS trusts, GP surgeries, private hospitals and service providers, commissioning groups, Health Education England, the voluntary sector and the public.

Our international connections are an integral part of all aspects of our work. Our staff collaborate with colleagues in a variety of locations, including institutions in Canada, Chile, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Malaysia, Malta, South Africa, Sweden and the USA.

Students from all over the world travel to Sheffield to study degrees with us, we regularly receive students from across Europe, Bangladesh, China, Ghana, India, Jordan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand. We provide a multicultural and supportive environment for all of our students and where possible provide placements as a part of our courses.

We work in partnership with overseas governments to provide culturally relevant programmes to develop healthcare professionals with education and work relevant skills to suit their local work context. To ensure that our postgraduate education is accessible to those who do not wish to come to the UK to study we offer a range of masters level courses via distance learning routes that can be studied part-time by healthcare professionals from across the world.
