The work of the Department is informed by advisory boards consisting of employers from the NHS and pharmaceutical and biosciences industries, including Astra Zeneca, Covance, Evotec and Peakdale Molecular. We regularly meet with representatives of these companies to gain essential advice on curriculum design and to ensure that we understand what they require in our graduates.

Employers also contribute to the teaching on our courses.
