Recent BSc in Real Estate graduate Tom Brown will be joining Lambert Smith Hampton's agency team in Manchester. Fellow students Nick Coffey, Eleanor Furness, Harry Fullerton and Ellis Hearfield have also gained placement positions in the building consultancy, lease advisory and valuation teams.

Lambert Smith Hampton are a leading graduate recruiter, and source and recruit property professionals to all their offices throughout the UK. In addition to the new appointments, former placement students Ian Scott, Holly Armitage and Emily Templeton are staying on as part-time placements in the valuation, business rate and lease advisory teams until they have completed their degrees. They have been offered permanent positions on the graduate programme following graduation in summer 2015.

The course leader for Sheffield Hallam's BSc Real Estate course added: 'This is testimony to both the calibre of our students and the importance that the course team place upon employability, and in particular cultivating links with professional stakeholders. Our course has a great track record in placing students in both high quality placements (during the optional 'sandwich' year) and upon graduation. Employers repeatedly tell us that they like the applied, commercial focus of our course and the impressive young professionals that it produces.'

Abid Jaffry, head of the Manchester office, said: 'Lambert Smith Hampton is committed to developing the next generation of talented professionals within the property sector. Having a network of excellent universities in the north allows us to continuously recruit some of the very best graduates around. This is reflected by the recent talent recruited from Sheffield Hallam University and being able to offer permanent positions to former placement students.'
