Workshop on Reflexive attentional shift in Sheffield
Organiser: Dr. Alessandro Soranzo
This is an international workshop titled 'Reflexive attentional shift: biologically or socially determined?'
Interest in topic of reflexive shift of attention has intensified in recent years however the debate on what causes this shift is currently a 'hot topic' due to contrasting evidence as to whether social or visual perceptual factors are responsible for the effect.
This would be a one-day workshop at Sheffield Hallam University on the 12 January 2017.
The goal of the workshop is twofold, to reach a consensus on the major theoretical debates and to generate an agenda for future work. A further output will be a special issue in the journal Vision.
