Mandarin Oriental - Head of Organisational Development
Jacqueline gained her degree in Catering systems, from Sheffield Hallam University – many years ago and is keen to become more involved with the university. Following a graduate training programme in hotel operations, Jacqueline worked with InterContinental Hotels Group for 15 years, then ran her own consulting business for three years, prior to moving to Hong Kong twelve years ago and joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as Head of Organisational Development. In 2014 she completed an Executive MBA through RMIT and in 2016 she returned to the UK where she continues in her role as Vice President of OD with Mandarin Oriental.
Her roles with InterContinental, included Director of Training and Development for the InterContinental Hotels and Resorts worldwide, and Director of Human Resource Development and Director of Internal Brand Development. As a consultant, Jacqueline worked both independently and as an associate. Her client list represented a wide range of industries and companies including Champneys Health Resorts, Fujitsu IT Services, Thomas Cook Travel, Barclays Capital Investment Bank, One & Only Resorts and Oxford Brooke University. Her assignments focused on internal communications, aligning HR processes, employee engagement, assessment centres, leadership development and internal brand alignment.
At Mandarin Oriental, Jacqueline is responsible for the implementation of the Organisational Development strategy and her key focus areas include Performance and Talent Management, Leadership and Talent Development as well as the ongoing implementation and alignment of HR systems and processes. She also oversees the Learning & Development function.
