Mayflower Case Study


Over 30 final year students helped Mayflower Engineering evaluate their sales forecasting methods and recommended more accurate methods that the company could adopt. Students on the Business Economics course received a brief to conduct market research to identify ways in which Mayflower could increase sales in new markets due to the recent decline in the steel industry.

Following initial briefings, the students were invited on visits to the Mayflower Engineering factory to better understand the operations of the company.

The students then presented their findings to the company, impressing the company.
