One of only three universities in the world boasting EPAS accreditation for our Hospitality Business Management programmes, automatic Institute of Hospitality membership and the ability to achieve a sandwich degree in three years rather than four are just some of the reasons why our courses are so attractive.

We offer a ‘live’ managerial experience at all levels of study which equips our graduates for success in employment. Work experience is integral to our courses and students have the option of a one year UK or overseas placement or work experience during the semester. Our students also have the opportunity to achieve an additional food safety qualification.

Our impressive facilities provide an active experimentation space where students can put theory into practice. This includes production kitchens, restaurant facilities and the latest technology such as MICROS/EPOS.

Since it began, we've had a student in each annual final of the Young Guns competition run by the Council for Hospitality Management Education and have been double winners twice - providing an amazing experience for our students. We have outstanding student satisfaction ratings and consistently achieve over 90% satisfied in the National Student Satisfaction survey, with similar results in the Postgraduate Taught/Research Experience Surveys.
