Your learning experience
Our dedicated tutors are committed to making sure you have the best learning experience possible in your chosen subject. We believe that how you learn can be just as important as what you learn.
You’ll learn in three main ways:
- problem-based learning
- activity-based learning, like project and assignment work
- collaborative-based learning, including working in groups on tasks and activities
Support for your learning
You’ll have a designated tutor, who acts as a guide to help you understand the topics you are studying, and provides you with ongoing feedback and support. We use educational technology to help you learn both in the classroom and in your private study time. All modules have an intranet site that houses resources and structures your study.
How assessment works
Your learning will be assessed in a number of ways, including:
- group projects
- individual assignments
- reports for organisations
- case study analysis
These assessments help you to develop and demonstrate both your academic skills and some of the skills that employers say are important when recruiting graduates, such as communication skills, teamwork and problem-solving.
From classroom to workplace
Having positive learning experiences helps you to become a confident and competent learner, and in turn, a capable professional who’s equipped to respond quickly and effectively to the challenges of the workplace.
