Adam is Sky TV's political editor with a long and distinguished career in journalism, and broadcast media in particular.

He was political editor at TV-am before moving to Sky as a founding member of its news team. He currently presents the Sunday Live programme and PMQs on Wednesday evenings.

He is a winner of the Royal Television Society's Judges' Award and his Sunday programme has been voted Current Affairs Show of the Year. Adam has presented live political specials from South Africa, the USA, France and Israel as well from across the UK. His interviewees range from Tony Blair, Al Gore and Margaret Thatcher to Jane Fonda, Woody Allen and Spike Lee.

Adam is the author of the book Tony's Ten Years: Memories of the Blair Administration published in October 2008. He has also contributed to many newspapers, magazines and books as well as pursuing his thirst for knowledge with Masters' degrees from Oxford and John Hopkins University, Washington DC.
