Bridget Crofts RN, RNT, MPhil, BA (Hons), Cert (Ed).
Principal Lecturer
Summary
I am an experienced registered nurse/nurse teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive evidence based practice, working collaboratively with the community of practice through practice partnerships.
About
I have been actively involved in the development of teaching and learning since 1987 and feel as passionately about producing effective nurses now as I did at the start of my career.
In my role as Principal Lecturer - Professional lead I have responsibility for the leadership and management of a team of highly knowledgeable and committed staff. I have key leadership responsibilities for the joint programme BSc Applied Nursing (Learning Disability) and Generic Social Work and the college Fitness to Practice Operational Group.
I work collaboratively providing guidance regarding quality risk based management to colleagues in nursing and social work to meet the validation/revalidation requirements of the joint nursing and social work course, utilizing my knowledge and experience of these strategies as an experienced NMC reviewer.
