I am an experienced academic with a demonstrable history of working in the higher education industry. I am skilled in lecturing, curriculum development, public speaking, and industry collaboration.

About

I am a senior lecturer in Engineering Management at the Department of Engineering and Mathematics, Sheffield Hallam University. I joined Sheffield Hallam University after a career at Royal Holloway University of London, where I obtained my PhD in Technology Management.

I received my MSc from University of Stirling in Scotland and my BEng from Jilin University in China. I am currently the course leader for Railway Engineering, a course that has strong collaborative relationships with the UK rail industry.

I teach a number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Project Management, Engineering Management, and general business studies for engineers. 

Research

My research interests are mainly in the field of information representation and information retrieval in engineering. I am also interested in engineering project management, business information management, engineering technology management and knowledge sharing.

Postgraduate supervision
