I am an experienced academic with a demonstrable history of working in the higher education industry. I am skilled in lecturing, curriculum development, public speaking, and industry collaboration.
I am a senior lecturer in Engineering Management at the Department of Engineering and Mathematics, Sheffield Hallam University. I joined Sheffield Hallam University after a career at Royal Holloway University of London, where I obtained my PhD in Technology Management.
I received my MSc from University of Stirling in Scotland and my BEng from Jilin University in China. I am currently the course leader for Railway Engineering, a course that has strong collaborative relationships with the UK rail industry.

My research interests are mainly in the field of information representation and information retrieval in engineering. I am also interested in engineering project management, business information management. engineering technology management and knowledge sharing.
